Post Gou 2026 Analysis in Mogadishu Somalia
The Post Gu 2026 Food Security Assessment (FSA) and Nutrition Assessment (MNA) data collection and preliminary analysis were successfully completed by the assessment teams. The workshop brought together technical staff and partners to review and discuss the initial findings emerging from the assessments. Preliminary results were analyzed to identify key food security and nutrition trends across the assessed areas following the Gu 2026 season. The event provided an opportunity to validate initial observations, address data quality issues, and ensure consistency in interpretation. Participants also reviewed major drivers of food insecurity and nutrition outcomes to support evidence-based decision making. The workshop was conducted at Green Paradise Hotel and marks an important step toward finalizing the Post Gu 2026 assessment results. Further analysis and several technical vetting sessions will continue to refine and validate the findings before the final results are endorsed and disseminated. The group photos above were taken during the preliminary data analysis workshop attended by assessment and technical teams.
